IBM ODM DSI senses events, recognizes context and decides on actions to improve customer experience. IBM BPM implements processes that ensure that such “actionable insights” are executed and tracked. Watson extends these processes and decisions with cognitive services to yield Cognitive Business Operations (CBOs) that sense, respond and learn. The result is a better ability to adapt to and predict customer behavior. Watson’s abilities to understand natural language, interpret unstructured data, and drive automated user dialogs provide a platform for developing cognitive business operations that can harness and act on insights from customer sentiment in social media such as Twitter and Facebook, as well as free-form text and recorded speech.

Pramod presented a live demo of Princeton Blue’s Unified Customer View solution that showcased the power of Cognitive Computing, ODM DSI and BPM.
